Athens Country Club is a semi-private club that offers the finest in dining facilities, entertainment and sports. The impressive club house features an elegant dining room, newly created alfresco dining, a spacious lounge with fireplace, a sports bar and men’s and ladies’ game rooms.  We can seat up to 300 persons in our spacious ballroom with dance floor.

Golf

Our challenging 18-hole golf course is enjoyable for the novice golfer as well as the more seasoned player. Active Men's & Women's Golf Associations sponsor tournaments throughout the year. Members may rent golf carts from the club or bring their own and pay a monthly trail fee. Golf lessons are provided by our golf professional. The putting green and driving range are convenient practice areas. To complete the links experience, the Club provides a Golf Professional, a trained pro shop staff, and a well stocked pro shop to meet golfers’ apparel and equipment needs.

Tennis

We have four lighted courts, a Gazebo and a central seating area between courts 2 and 3.

Swim

The pool area, located in a lovely garden setting, with a large shaded Gazebo and Snack Bar provides a beautiful escape from Texas summers.  It’s the perfect place for families to cool off and have fun.

Dining

The menu at Athens Country Club features a broad array of delicious cuisine including a featured Wellness section for the health concious.
